The rules of the DCEHL are strictly enforced in an effort to ensure that play is competitive and fun, but most importantly, safe for everyone participating. In Monday night's contest between NHMS and the Black Knights, several players got involved in a scrum that resulted in a some major penalties being called.

Unfortunately, after review by the league, the events have led to supplementary disciplinary action for some players. Per league commissioner Chris Hitchcock, the following punishments have been levied:

Steve Barrasso (NHMS) - 3 game suspension

Rich Grace (NHMS) - 2 game suspension

Tobin Farwell (Black Knights) - 2 game suspension

Shawn Glidden (NHMS) - Warning

Next week's games will start at 6:30pm on Monday, October 12th.
