What began as a quiet 2-1 game entering the third period turned into a wild back-and-forth finish, with six goals scored in the final frame as Purple edged Green, 5-4. TJ Wright led Green with four points, 15 shots on goal and nine face-off wins, while Dennis Pelletier and Lauri Plante each added two assists. For Purple, Bear Kirkpatrick recorded a hat trick, and Kevin Dalton contributed two assists.
